Hey folks, my name is gaming123456. Strange name, I know.
Cutting right down to the chase, here's the trailer!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPYjT5…

And here's a brief description of the game for newcomers, and/or at least things that the trailer might have missed + extras!

Hyrule Warriors Legends is a 3DS port of the original WiiU title. A Zelda spin-off title mixed with both The Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors. Developed by Koei-Tecmo's production companies: W-Force Omega (makers of Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, One Piece Pirate Warriors, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, Warriors Orochi, etc) and Team Ninja (makers of Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, co-devs of Metroid Other M).

The 3DS port will contain almost every single content from the WiiU version, INCLUDING all the DLC characters, weapons, and Adventure Maps. However, the game will lose one game mode. Challenge Mode will be absent in the 3DS version.

Don't let that be a downer though, the 3DS port will feature tons of new content. Some of which will be available on the WiiU version, if you're wondering.

Consider the following list of the new contents.
-New Wind Waker World; expanding Story Mode and Stage Selections (Temple of Earth/Wind, Dragon Roost Island, Forsaken Fortress)
-New Giant Boss, The Helmaroc King
-New Character Boss, Toon Phantom Ganondorf
-Wind Waker Adventure Map for Adventure mode
-A My Fairy System for Adventure Mode that allows you to bring a fairy companion to assist you in certain challenges. Each with it's own attribute. And you can dress them up!
-Last, but not least new characters: Toon Link, Tetra, King of Red Lions, Skull Kid/Majora's Mask, and Linkle
-Ganondorf gets a new weapon. His traditional Trident - moves faster than his Demon Blades

A new extra feature that should be majorly considered (for this Group), is Linkle's very own Story. According to a recent Famitsu Magazine, Linkle is a cheerful young lady who lives in a small village within Hyrule's range. She also loves Cuccos. One day, she uncovers a compass which was passed down from her grandmother, and the compass has the royal symbol engraved on it, The Triforce. A proof that she may have some sort of connection with the royal family. Taking into considerations, she sets off to Hyrule Castle to learn more about how the compass came onto her family's hands. Although being within Hyrule property, holding a map and compass in her hands, she's.....a bit clumsy. Which results her getting into one realm to another; the realm of Twili and Faron Woods. Meeting some friendly people (Twili Midna) and evil tricksters (Skull Kid). However, there is a greater Evil that haunts all the realms, and it is up to Linkle to save Hyrule.

Now where is Link you might ask? It may come as a shocker, but the concept idea of Link and Linkle being siblings was completely dropped. In other words, Linkle is a separate character; her own character in her own world and timeline. At least, according to Famitsu Magazine.

Going back to the list of new contents, for now, only the new characters will be coming to the WiiU version. By one method.
You must own both the 3DS and WiiU versions. Transfer the 3DS content via wireless connection to the WiiU port. There's no reports whether or not the new characters will be purchasable as DLC for the WiiU version. For now, this is the only method.
HOWEVER, before even transferring, you might have to unlock the characters on the 3DS version FIRST. Big catch!

Hyrule Warriors Legends is slated to be released on:
January 21, 2016 (Japan) with exclusive Treasure Box edition; comes with Golden Ocarina, Linkle's Compass, Steel-Artbook, and a Proxi Plushie
March 25th, 2016 (North America/Europe) No Treasure Box edition for the West.
